It’s really a very simple baked chicken recipe. Just with the added benefits of turmeric (anti-inflammatory, great for memory, mood booster, and much more)
1. Put a touch of olive oil in the bottom of a baking dish to coat it.
2. Sprinkle both sides of chicken with turmeric + sea salt + fresh ground pepper, then lay side by side in the baking dish.
3. Top chicken with lemon slices, fresh rosemary, and a drizzle of olive oil.
4. Bake 30-40 minutes (depending on how thick your chicken is) at 375 degrees. If you want it more browned, broil it very shortly at the end.
NOTES:
*my aunt Bella made this and added capers. I think that’s a wonderful idea! I need to buy some capers so I can try it next time
**y’all know I am all about shortcuts, but I think this recipe it is worth using a real lemon as opposed to lemon juice and fresh rosemary of you have it. If you don’t, don’t sweat it. It’ll be fine. Keep calm and cook on!
