The first week of school is a doozy for us all. They are tired. Mom is tired. I don’t want to give too much energy to the food. I want simple meals that feel familiar to them and easy for me.

Sometimes I add sheet pancakes (on the blog!) because the leftovers are great for easy breakfasts.

I cook the eggs and when they are almost done, I grate cheese on top, turn the heat off, and cover. Cheesy eggs 🤤🤤🤤

As @thelazygenius would say, plan your hot dogs!!

Not pictured: the mayo I put on my hot dog. Anyone else a mayo on your dog person!? Try it. It’s so good.

This and breakfast for dinner are the ultimate #Thursday #Turdsday meals.

Very self explanatory here. Surprisingly, despite my love for mayo, we go butter on the outside. However!!!! I do mayo on the inside 😬 Are you team mayo or butter??

This is such a winner because my picky eater does the pasta without the meatballs and my son loads up on meatballs.

@simeks is my favorite store bought brand. They don’t have that “this has too much filling” taste. Very, very good. Also if you have one who doesn’t love pasta, serve with Hawaiian rolls and they can make a mini meatball sub.

Another great one because it’s so customizable!

Don’t sleep on the canned corn and canned black beans. I add 1/4 of the taco seasoning packet to the black beans and sub plain Greek yogurt for sour cream.

God bless delivery pizza on paper plates. Papa John’s forever ❤️❤️❤️
Mom to four wonderful little people. While they sleep, I cook.
