Morning friends! Happy Monday. It’s another gray day here in NC, but there’s a hint of crisp fall-ness in the air so I am not complaining. I planned to go to the gym this morning but instead decided to sleep in. I am so glad I did. I think my body was begging me for some extra rest today. If I am honest, it can be hard for me to listen to my body well and give it breaks when it needs it, but it’s something I am working on in this season.
Ok. So about this smoothie. Last Friday when I went to @wholefoods alone for that blissful afternoon, I saw someone order this smoothie. It looked delightful! I wasn’t hungry, but I took note of the ingredients and the name so I could make it at home. It’s delicious. Guess what? There is no kale or spinach in this smoothie (the scandal!). Sure, there could be, but I wanted something extremely basic. And the color is just too pretty! It’s got 4 ingredients. That’s it! And I bet if you have a little person running around they will love it. You could call it the “Purple Monster” or something fun! Oh, and it’s #whole30approved (just be sure to check your almond milk) and super filling for all you #septemberwhole30 peeps getting sick of eggs in the morning.
