Carrot Ginger Smoothie

I’m a skeptic but this was a surprisingly good vitamin C boost (because ain’t nobody got time to be sick!)…also good for nausea for all the preggos out there!

  • 1 orange
  • ½ cup applesauce (could also use ½ a real apple)
  • pinch of fresh ginger (did you know you can freeze ginger root and use as needed!?)
  • handful of carrots
  • ½ banana (optional)
  • water and ice
