Strawberry Basil Smoothie

Strawberry Basil Smoothie

My basil plant is not only surviving, but THRIVING. I can’t believe it. This has never happened. I’m celebrating by using basil in everything. This Strawberry Basil Smoothie was super refreshing and fun. Next time I’m gonna add lime as well just to keep experimenting.

The strawberries were picked by me and then frozen. Goodness that makes all the difference! They are super flavorful and vibrant.

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Handful frozen strawberries
  • small handful frozen cauliflower
  • small handful frozen zucchini
  • almond milk
  • plain kefir
  • 2 basil leaves

*Feel free to add banana if you like. I didn’t feel the need as the kefir really makes it wonderfully creamy.

TO MAKE: blend and sip 🙂

Shared this one with my little man, who seems to be on the up and up  thanks for all the love and prayers over this past weekend.
