This dessert, if you can believe it, actually tastes BETTER than it is fancy! And that’s saying something, because it is very fancy.

YOU WILL NEED:

• 1 pan of brownies, baked and cooled
• 2 boxes of pudding, prepped and ready to go (you need milk to make the pudding, fyi)
• 1 large (approx. 16 oz.) container of cool-whip
• 1 bag of heath bits **you could use Oreos instead of heath but really heath bits are the best
• A piece of paper towel
• A spatula

TO MAKE: 

**The paper towel is to use to wipe the side between layers should you have any parts on the side that look uneven. It’s the way you get a nice, clean striped look in the trifle dish. I just put the paper towel over my finger and wipe around to get rid of any little spots where the spatula might have hit the side too high for the layer. I hope that makes sense.

1. Start with 1/3 of your chocolate pudding as the bottom layer, use the spatula to smooth it out
2. Add 1/3 of you pan of brownies. No need to cut them just crumble them over the pudding
3. Add 1/3 of your container of cool-whip (or homemade whipped cream), again using the spatula to smooth  it out
4. Add 1/3 of the bag of heath bits, dispersing them over the cool whip
5. Repeat those layers 3 times and voila!
6. Let it sit in the fridge a few hours or overnight to allow it to marinate and do whatever magical thing that happens when these layers get together.

I promise people will kiss your feet if you take this to a party!
