I have been making these brownies since middle school and I cannot believe I have never shared them!!! Truth be told I remember making a pan before basketball practice in 8th grade with my friend Emily and I then having to run laps and puking in a trash can. Worth it! Anyways, these are super easy and make for a unique brownie texture and flavor you have likely never had. Hope you enjoy!

Make your favorite boxed brownie mix according to package directions and and bake as directed,
but instead of the full time, bake for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, the brownies should be set but not fully cooked. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the brownies, then return them to the oven for the final 10-ish minutes (might need longer according to your oven/brownie mix; stick a toothpick in to test or doneness).
Sprinkle with a little flaky sea salt (this is optional but I have found flaky sea salt makes just about every dessert better).
