Mom’s Tub

Mom’s Tub

Growing up, if you had a hard day or didn’t feel well, you get to take a tub in mom’s bathroom. If the day was a real doozy, she would also bring you hot tea.

This is Scout’s first time at “long day school” as she calls it. She’s doing great but she’s also utterly exhausted. Emotions are high and tears comes easy in that evening window.

And so, I bring out the best thing in my arsenal: mom’s tub. Complete with epsom salt and dim lights and Peaceful Piano on Spotify.

May we always encourage them to persevere in hard things, and may our homes remain the safest, softest place to land as they do so 🛁 💕
