Getting this recipe to you just in time for football season!!! As promised, here is my recipe for the BEST EVER Baked Ham and Cheese Sliders!
There are many versions of this online. For mine, I increase the Worcestershire, sub ETBT seasoning for poppyseeds, and bake them for 20 minutes so they are extra melty and piping hot.
Step One: Preheat oven to 350
Step Two: Line a 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper (doesn’t have to be lined on all sides, but leave a little extra on two of the sides so it’s easy to lift the rolls out of the pan)
Step Three: Without separating the rolls, cut the entire pack in half lengthwise using a breadknife
Step Four: Spread the mayonnaise on the bottom layer of rolls, then layer with the ham and Swiss cheese covering the whole surface and then the other half of the dinner rolls
Step Five: Once in the pan, use your bread knife to slice the sandwiches into individual sliders (this works best with a sharp knife and I like to do it in the pan so they still stay together)
Step Six: Microwave the butter until melted, then add the dijon, onion power, Worcestershire, and EBTB seasoning, mixing well
Step Seven: Pour the melted butter mixture over all of the sandwiches, using a spatula to spread around evenly
Step Eight: Cover in tin foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncovered for 2-3 minutes
Step Nine: Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, then serve out of the pan, or use the parchment paper in the sides to lift the sliders out for people to grab one more easily.
Enjoy!
16
servings1 (6 oz) package of deli ham (you can totally do more if you want but usually sell 6 oz size)
1 (8 oz) package swiss cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Everything But The Bagel seasoning
1 1/2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1/2 cup butter melted
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 large package (16 count) King’s Hawaiian Dinner Rolls (I get the large pack because this is what they sell at Costco; if you don’t have a Costco I would get 2 packs of 12 and take four from the one pack and save the other 8 for a dinner later in the week)
Mom to four wonderful little people. While they sleep, I cook.
Delicious and rich!
I would consider switching the Swiss out for cheddar or do both!
